STRATHBLANE HOTELS

Strathblane is a village which lies to the south-west in Stirlingshire and is approximately 12 miles north of Glasgow. Nearby towns include Blanefield, Clachan of Campsie, Milngavie and Mugdock.

The Strathblane valley lies between Strathblane and Dumgoyne. Both the Blane Water and the West Highland Way pass through this valley. The Blane Water rises from the Earl's Seat in the nearby Campsie Fells.

The Strathblane hills stretch over the northern boundary, the most impressive is Dumgoyne where from its summit fabulous views can be discovered including Earl's Seat.

Between Glasgow and Strathblane there is Mugdock Country Park which includes Mugdock woods and 2 castles. There is also a stables' tearoom, discovery room and theatre.
